What is a Personalized Children's Book?

Personalized books are different from regular books, because they STAR the child. He/She becomes the main character in a story of your choice, that weaves his/her name, hometown and other family or friends through it. As you browse through our collection of children's books, you will find stories every child can relate to: Dinosaurs, Ballerinas, Firemen, Trains, Sports, Zoos, Space Travel, History, Religion, Animals, Hot Air Balloons, Cleaning Your Room, Santa, Circus, Newborns & more! You just fill in a few blanks to order and we print, bind and mail the books to you. It's quick & easy!

What is the age range for your Personalized Children's Books?

Newborn to 11 years (each book description shows the best age for each story)

How long will it take to receive my books?

Most books are made the day we receive order and mailed the next day.

We have 2 shipping methods to use when ordering:

Priority Rate 2-4 days
Media Mail 1-3 wks

If I don't know the child's friend's names, what should I do?

Mom, Dad, Grandma, Aunts and Uncles work wonderfully in the books. You can always use your name, too.

How many names can go in the story besides the main character?

You may use 1 to 3 names and occasionally, we can fit in a 4th, depending on the number of letters in names.

Can two children be the main characters?

No. The way the program is set up, only one person can star in the book, but others are woven through the story, too.

What do the books look like?

All books are laser printed with quality color illustrations. We have 2 books to choose from:

What are good occasions for sending Adult Personalized Books?

Nadine says: "You're Over the Hill Honey!" personalized book, is great for the person who has everything, including a sense of humor! This book pokes laughable fun at aging and is perfect for birthdays. Especially good for turning 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80. It ends on a semi-positive note for your friend, on the last page.

Do you accept Credit Cards?

Yes, all credit card payments are securely processed through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account in order to complete an online purchase. Whether you use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover, just click the PayPal button at the end of ordering and it will process for you. Please send all payments in US funds.

Do you accept Checks and Money Orders?

Yes. Books will be mailed promptly upon receipt of check and can be mailed to:

Why do you need my e-mail address?

We require this information so we can contact you should we need clarification or additional information to process your order. Your information remains private and will not be given to any other source.

What if there is a problem with my book?

We proofread our entry three times before printing our books, so it is rare to receive a book with an error. However, in the event we do make a mistake we will promptly send a replacement book free of charge!

If there is a printing error due to the order form being filled out incorrectly, we can not be held responsible. Please double check the accuracy of entries when placing an order.

Do you do Fundraisers?

Yes. If you are a school, church, or have an organizational cause that you would like to earn money for, we would be happy to help. From your end, it is very easy. First you would e-mail us with your interest and questions to: carla@carlabooks.com

Together we would develop a plan that consists of us mailing you the number of order forms you need to go home with the children at school or church, (or adults, if it is an older organization), with descriptions of each book and how to order. After the fundraiser is over, just send us the forms with checks or money orders. We will make the books and ship them back to you along with a check for 20% of products sold! You have not only raised money for a good cause, you have also put very special books into the hands of children learning to read.
